Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site position offers 3x12s day shifts and excellent nurse-to-patient ratios in a modern hospital setting.

The CVICU RN will provide direct clinical care, operate advanced cardiac equipment, and collaborate with providers and leadership to ensure evidence-based care and thorough discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or compact endorsement).
• BLS and ACLS are required. PALS within 6 months of hire; EPNC and TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate ICU/CCU experience with cardiovascular surgery patients is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to cardiovascular and other surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring.
• Operate and monitor cardiac/life-support equipment (ventilators, CRRT, lines, pumps).
• Manage IABP/Impella devices as part of cardiovascular therapy.
• Serve as clinical leader on the floor and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and staff.
• Collaborate with Providers and nurse leadership to implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain timely electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
