Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is partnering with a premier hospital in Great Falls, MT to recruit a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role features 3x12s shifts, on-site coverage, and a supportive team focused on safety and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have a ADN with MT license (or compact) and BLS/ACLS, with BSN preferred. Post-graduate ICU/Cardiac experience and TNCC/EPNC are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS within 6 months of hire; EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate ICU/medical-surgical practice with cardiovascular surgery patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment (ventilators, arterial lines, CRRT).
• Monitor patients with cardiac assist devices (IABP, Impella).
• Lead on the floor and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and staff.
• Collaborate with Providers and nurse leadership on evidence-based care and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
