Job summary

Premier Health seeks a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week onsite Dayton assignment. Day shifts are 7:00–19:30 with 4x12 hour days; some 36- or 48-hour options may be available. Requirements include CVICU experience, EPIC, EKG interpretation, and travel willingness.

Expect competitive compensation including weekly stipends and base pay. OT is paid after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts; RTO is limited. Navy scrubs, unit-specific shifts, and floating policies apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CVICU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certification required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Must pass online EKG competency assessment.
• Willingness to travel and float to other units.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVICU care in a 1:2 patient ratio environment.
• Manage telemetry, drips, vents and arterial lines as needed.
• Floats to other units per Premier Health scheduling and patient census.
• Travel assignments may require extended shifts and weekend work.

RN-Registered Nurse // CVICU $1,358 weekly stipends $22 - $24/hour $1,144.0 - $1,248 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 10/19/2026 13 weeks

Day Shift 12 hours/day 4 days/week

Title: CVICU Registered Nurse

Location: Dayton OH

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day (4x12 Hours) 7:00 19:30 / 36- or 48-hours shift is available

These positions REQUIRE experience with the following:

• Impella
• Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR) *
• Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR) *
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention*
• Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring*
• thermodilution PA cath monitoring*

Minimum 1 YEAR CVICU experience REQUIRED (dedicated CVICU staff exp)

Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Important Notes: Will take first time travelers, do not need Ohio license in hand at signing

For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours

Targeted patient ratios are 1:2

Must have the following requirements:

• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required - must be able to read and interpret strips
• Experience with A-Lines vents drips sheaths dialysis and draw ABGs.
• Travel experience preferred

EPIC experience Required

Floating and Other Requirements:

• Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to.
• Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
• Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

RTO

• Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
