Job summary

Allen Control Systems seeks a Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead the CV/ML team behind an autonomous drone turret. The role is a player-coach position, contributing to CV/ML work while growing the team, with plans aligned to hardware integration and military-grade system delivery.

You will define and execute the CV/ML roadmap, work with Chief Engineers and VP of AI, and translate product goals into quarterly plans, shaping staffing and milestones for real-time

Qualifications

• Deep expertise and 10+ years of experience working on machine-learning-based computer vision and traditional image and signal processing, ideally in robotics, including a proven track record of deploying CV systems in real-time or safety-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a CV/ML team: lead the existing engineers, hire across levels from Junior through Senior Staff, and develop your engineers’ careers and technical skills.
