Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the United States seeks a Documentation Coordinator to coordinate customs documentation for entry of goods, and to deliver impeccable customer service.

You will obtain correct classification of goods, perform data entry, maintain shipment records, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. Training onsite initially, then transition to remote work.

Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and government agencies to support high service levels.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months work experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases and tariffs.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations.
• Work closely with internal staff, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• May handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies are followed.
