Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented logistics clerk to coordinate required documentation for US customs and government agencies on behalf of importers. You will provide top-notch customer service and ensure accurate classification of goods for customs release.

You will handle data entry, process import-related documentation, and maintain compliance with all record-keeping and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required; no industry experience is necessary.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience preferred.
• Data entry and MS Office experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service to importers.
• Determine correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all import/export regulations and cooperate with internal teams and customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies are followed and complete other duties as assigned.
• Paid training provided.
