Maersk is seeking an CHB Operations Associate to manage end‑to‑end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated account portfolio. You will collaborate with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely imports and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience.
• At least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑focused mindset with ownership and accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Customs House Broker License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate shipment updates.
• Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Open and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standards.
• Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and CFS to ensure timely release.
• Track and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final delivery.
• Ensure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systems.
• Complete customer billing, delivery orders, and required operational reports.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross‑functional partners to support coverage and peak‑volume needs.
