ALPI Customs Brokers, Inc., the customs brokerage division of ALPI USA, Inc., invites experienced Customs Entry Writer candidates to apply in Edison, NJ. You will manage documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements to ensure shipments clear through U.S.

Customs. Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience and be adept at HTS classification, coordination with FDA/USDA, and using CargoWise.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer required.
• Strong classification skills and knowledge of customs regulations required.
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, Carnets and other regulatory agencies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit customs entries accurately and timely.
• Classify shipments using HTS; cosmetics experience a plus.
• Coordinate with OGAs (FDA, USDA, F&W) to ensure compliance.
• Review and reconcile duty statements.
• Use CargoWise proficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
