Job summary

The role involves preparing and processing U.S. Customs documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and closely coordinating with brokers, carriers, and clients for efficient import/export operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customs entry writing or brokerage experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Licensed Customs Broker certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs entries in compliance with CBP regulations.
• Classify goods using HTS codes and verify duty rates.
• Review shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Communicate with customs officials, importers, and internal departments to resolve entry issues.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance.
