Customs Entry Writer (Hybrid role: 3:2) – Secaucus, NJ

We are partnered with an established Global Logistics provider with 3PL (Air, Ocean, Rail & Land) capabilities currently hiring a Customs Entry Writer into their Brokerage department (team of 7).

As a Customs Entry Writer you will be working under the supervision of the Licensed CHB.

Key responsibilities:

• Review imports documents for accuracy and communicate documentation discrepancies
• Apply correct HTS codes
• If necessary, prepare the entry in CargoWise and follow up with the import team.
• No billing necessary
• Commodity knowledge: Experience in clearing wearing apparel and food products clearances is preferred but not essential
• System: Knowledge of CargoWise is preferred but the Company will train you if needed

Paying a competitive Base Salary + up to 95% Medical + Dental + Vision + 19 days PTO + 401-K matching
