Job summary

OEC Group is seeking an Entry Writer to handle customs entries for imports, ensuring timely release from U.S. Customs. The role requires 1–3 years of entry writing experience and knowledge of regulatory reporting (e.g., FDA).

Ideal candidates will manage customer profiles, coordinate information for processing, and respond to brokerage inquiries. Office in Miami, with a 9:00 am–6:00 pm EST schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of entry writing experience.
• Knowledge of reporting on an entry for agencies such as FDA.
• Experience dealing with high volume data entry.
• Cargowise experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner.
• Annotates entry packets using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), internet and communication with the importer of record.
• Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department.
• Develops and maintains customer profiles based on customer’s entry history.
• Coordinates with customers to gather information for entry processing.
• Answers brokerage-related inquiries internally and externally.
