Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Entry Agent to process import entries from receipt to release, ensuring accuracy and timely clearance while delivering excellent service.

You will audit documents, coordinate with CBP and PGA, and support ISF filings, leveraging 1–3 years of related experience and strong MS Office skills. This on-site role in Schiller Park, IL offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international logistics preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and international trade processes preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Process import customs entries from document receipt through cargo release, delivery, billing, and file completion.
• Review and audit commercial documentation for accuracy, including classification, valuation, country of origin, terms of sale, and CBP/PGA requirements.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment and entry data within Hellmann's brokerage systems.
• Coordinate Importer Security Filings (ISF) with suppliers, origin offices, and third parties.
• Collaborate with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, CBP, and Partner Government Agencies to resolve shipment delays and open issues.
• Troubleshoot entry-related challenges and provide solutions that support customer success.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company operating procedures.
• Support additional customs brokerage and import operations activities as needed.
