Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Trainer to deliver and implement technical skills in customs brokerage training for staff at the National Service Center and Client Service Centers across North America. The role reports to the Senior Director/Manager, National Service Delivery with dotted line to the North America Operations Training Manager.

Qualifications

• High level of technical expertise in customs brokerage systems with strong performance results.
• Demonstrates a drive to perform at a high standard in all situations ensuring the results meet or exceed the needs.
• Possesses knowledge across Livingston's brokerage operations (e.g., Custom Specialist, Release Customs Analyst).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must be approachable, outgoing, enthusiastic, and positive with initiative to collaborate to do what needs to be done.
• A quick learner with willingness to adopt new tools and approaches to train others.
• Demonstrates self-confidence and ease speaking in public.

Responsibilities

• Work with business leaders to determine training needs.
• Proactively use business metrics to determine training needs for their region of responsibility.
• Assist with the design and development of technical training programs and job aids.
• Deliver technical training programs to National Service Center and region employees including a small number of new hires.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the training delivered and report back to the business and make changes where appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
