Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a dedicated freight coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and manage documentation for timely entry and movement of goods. The role involves coordinating with brokers, handling payments, and resolving issues across entry and post-entry processes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of brokerage or transportation experience, with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 12 months of brokerage or transportation or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with high-quality service and ensure timely release/movement of freight.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to customs and other parties.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, T&B, and service providers to exceed service requirements.
• Resolve banking and letter of credit problems and advise on payment terms.
• Manage data entry and reconciliation as needed; support account administration.
• Produce operational trend reports and communicate exceptions to partners.
• Assist with entry processing, pre-arrival and post-arrival exception resolution.
• Participate in onboarding and training.
• Handle high volume, time-sensitive work independently.
