Job summary

Buckland Customs Brokers Ltd. is seeking a Junior Customs Account Analyst to assist with receiving, reviewing, and entering customs documents and processing shipments per procedures.

The role reports to the Team Leader and requires basic MS Office skills, attention to detail, and at least 1 year in a similar role within the US customs/logistics sector. Hybrid/remote/onsite work options are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
• Preferred experience with customs brokerage software.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of LVS program.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Customs/Logistics industry related experience preferable.

• Prepare customs and internal documents accurately with guidance when necessary.
• Handling client queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Contact clients or other brokers to request additional documents or information if needed.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, and frequently sit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement.
• Occasionally must carry/lift loads of up to 15 lbs.
• Frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyse.
