Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks an experienced Customer Trust & Assurance IT Security Manager to lead customer security engagements and shape how we communicate security, privacy, and compliance. You will coordinate responses to inquiries, audits, and questionnaires while aligning security with sales and product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, MIS or similar.
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with broad domain exposure; 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, privacy, and compliance.
• Familiarity with major frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership and people management; cross-functional collaboration with engineering, legal, risk and sales.
• Experience leading security, compliance, or trust programs; project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to customer security inquiries, questionnaires, assessments, and live discussions.
• Represent the company in security conversations; influence internal priorities and improvements.
• Bridge technical value and business outcomes; align security messaging with GTM and sales.
• Oversee internal teams to address customers' security, privacy, and data protection needs.
• Maintain and update security policy documentation and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Coordinate third‑party risk & due diligence processes; support audits and certifications.
• Contribute to product roadmap via emerging cyber trends and customer expectations.
• Educate sales on Wolters Kluwer security posture; mentor junior staff.
