Job summary

Wilcox + Flegel is seeking a Customer Support Specialist I to provide outstanding service to our fuel and lubricant customers across the Pacific Northwest. You will handle orders, maintain relationships, and support sales with quotes and reports in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and growth through product knowledge and system familiarity, with a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm schedule in a stable, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of office and financial experience.
• Associate degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Represent Wilcox + Flegel with professional communication to customers.
• Build relationships and rapport with customers from inside the business.
• Monitor and maintain group/individual email.
• Continuously grow and learn product knowledge.
• Enter orders into accounting and web-based software.
• Manage customer orders and back orders with tracking methods.
• Provide quotes, proposals, and reports to customers and inside/outside sales reps.
• Generate internal and external reports as needed.
• Proactively manage order collection via phone, email, and web-based apps.
• Schedule customer deliveries and provide updated order ETAs.
• Set up customer admin for seamless experience (monitor tank monitors, update delivery instructions, tracking orders).
• Update customer account information as needed.
• Order office supplies.
