Job summary

Badger Meter Inc. is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in the United States to provide daily administrative and service support, monitor orders and quotes, and keep account information up to date.

You will assist customer-facing teams with reporting, data entry, and documentation, help resolve order discrepancies, and track escalations. The role emphasizes collaboration and proactive problem solving to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, sales support or a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining annual customer quotes and updating pricing during renewals.
• Support customer-facing teams with reporting, data entry, and documentation to meet customer needs.
• Help resolve customer order discrepancies, invoicing questions, and delivery concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide administrative support and tracking for customer-related escalations and special projects.
• Assist with maintaining and updating customer accounts to ensure current and accurate information.
• Track open customer orders and proactively follow up to ensure issues are resolved within defined service levels.
• Support non-standard customer change activities, including documentation and communication updates.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support operations.
