Job summary

Colonial Midwest Imports Inc. is seeking a reliable Customer Service Officer to support our mattress and adjustable base import business.

You will ensure customers, wholesale partners, and distributors receive timely, accurate information. Key duties include answering inquiries by phone, email and online platforms; resolving issues with orders, returns and warranties; coordinating with warehouse and logistics to track shipments; and maintaining detailed records for all interactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in retail, logistics, or ecommerce is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with order management systems and basic office software.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow up and resolve issues with orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to track shipments and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Assist in resolving product issues and escalating complex cases when needed.
• Support sales team with order updates and customer communication.
