The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to oversee and improve customer support operations, guiding strategic direction and continuous service improvements. You will supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and manage billing operations for the county water system serving about 33,000 connections, including mailroom duties and data analysis projects.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in related work.
• Valid Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, hires, terminates, and disciplines staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations and trains staff.
• Implements service level improvements in customer support.
• Oversees delinquent utility billing operations for ~33,000 connections.
• Manages monthly water utility billing cycles and meter readings.
• Directs customer support staff tasks and mailroom operations.
• Leads data analysis projects and special initiatives.
• Responds to information requests from outside agencies.
• Handles escalated customer complaints and resolutions.
• Manages Low Income Assistance Program.
