Job summary

IDN Global, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to serve customers by phone and in person, supporting walk-in traffic and counter sales.

You will process orders, provide price and availability information, handle credits, and coordinate with the branch manager and outside sales to grow the local business.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of customer service or sales experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years Customer Service/Sales experience (distribution industry preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with branch staff and outside sales

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers by phone and in person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales)
• Using the computer system to provide information on price and availability
• Order processing and related customer assistance
• Light Warehouse work (picking, packing, shipping & receiving)
• Special order processing
• Presenting Monthly promotions
• Processing Customer Credits
• Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders
• Outbound customer calls to assist in growing the local business
• This individual should excel in a team-oriented work environment - working with the branch staff and outside sales representative to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and providing contributions that support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.
