About The Role

We’re looking for someone to fill a full-time Billing Operations Specialist role who provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers. They support the success of the overall Billing Operations (BO) function alongside the BO & Accounts Receivable (AR) Lead. We are looking for someone based out of Chicago to spend time in our office and have flexibility of some work from home time each week.

The Kind Of Things You’ll Be Involved In

  • Draft partnership agreements and complete billing setups for all customer types (live, virtual, distributor, LM+, etc.)
  • Complete daily support cases efficiently and accurately
  • Follow department monthly processing schedule and all assigned duties, including data cleanup, specialized invoicing, and issuing monthly partner notices
  • Serve as a SME for US billing operations processes, projects & partnership agreements to local and global stakeholders
  • Maintain data integrity to guarantee accurate customer billing (reconciliations, programming audits, billing audits, etc.)
  • Proactively offer recommendations to improve ways of working and collaborate with teammates to roll out changes
  • Collaborate with legal, CX and finance teams on any ad hoc contractual needs, urgent team tasks, or high-priority initiatives
  • Build and maintain SOPs for the department
  • Ad hoc project management and execution
