Job summary

Scherer Talent is helping a founder-led fine jewelry manufacturer in Downtown Los Angeles fill a high-impact account-management role. You will be the day-to-day liaison for major accounts, handling orders, pricing, availability, and ship dates, while guiding custom specs through CAD, production, and delivery.

Required is genuine fine jewelry fluency and the ability to price jewelry in real time. Prior experience owning a book of business and reading CAD renders is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Genuine fine jewelry fluency is required.
• Ability to read CAD renderings and interpret them (not create).
• Experience owning a relationship or book of business.
• Comfort giving pricing estimates verbally in real time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for the account's store teams.
• Own inbound requests end to end: new orders, reorders, modifications, pricing, availability, and ship dates.
• Quote and estimate in the moment on calls.
• Sell from existing inventory when it fits the request.
• Take custom spec intake (metal, gemstone, sizing, engraving, timeline, budget) and guide it through CAD, production, and delivery.
• Grow the account — books of business in the multi-million dollar range.

Downtown Los Angeles | Onsite, 5 days per week

Our client is a founder-led fine jewelry manufacturer with 25+ years in business, manufacturing in-house in the downtown LA jewelry district and partnering with national retailers across the U.S. They're growing fast, with several major retail programs launching this year.

This role owns the day-to-day relationship with some of their largest accounts.

What you'll do

• Serve as the point of contact for the account's store teams
• Own inbound requests end to end: new orders, reorders, modifications, pricing, availability, and ship dates
• Quote and estimate in the moment — these teams need a credible number on the call, not a callback
• Sell from existing inventory when it fits the request
• Take custom spec intake (metal, gemstone, sizing, engraving, timeline, budget) and guide it through CAD, production, and delivery
• Grow the account — people in this function carry books of business in the multi-million dollar range

What we're looking for

• Genuine fine jewelry fluency required.
• Comfort giving jewelry pricing estimates verbally, in real time
• Ability to read and interpret CAD renderings (reading and confirming, not creating)
• Experience owning a relationship or book of business rather than working from a queue

Not required — we'll teach it

• B2B or wholesale account experience preferred
• EDI or retailer compliance
• Prior ERP experience

Nice to have

• GIA credential or equivalent gemological training
• Bench, CAD, or production background — the strongest people in this function came up through production
• Experience supporting a multi-door or national retail account
