Job summary

Carley Foundry, Inc. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Customer Service and Pre-Production Coordinator to support customer orders and keep pre-production work moving through our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will work closely with Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Production to maintain accurate order information, coordinate schedules, and keep customers informed. You will build relationships, manage details, and collaborate across departments to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a two-year degree is preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, manufacturing, or related field.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and production concepts.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer purchase orders into the system and maintain accurate order records.
• Monitor and coordinate daily schedules for pre-production parts.
• Prepare and distribute pre-production packets and supporting paperwork.
• Communicate with customers about order status, schedules, and inquiries.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production Supervisors to support investment casting needs and timely delivery.
• Maintain customer stock lists and support inventory accuracy for stocking programs.
• Process Return Material Authorizations and related internal documentation.
• Maintain customer invoices, packing slips, and other records.
• Track timelines, prepare reports, and communicate issues that may affect customer commitments.
• Support quality initiatives, process improvements, and company safety requirements.
