Job summary

Valley Craft Industries Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Sales/Customer Service Department.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, processing quotes and orders, and supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will educate customers, analyze needs, provide practical solutions, and maintain accurate records in the customer management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of successful customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent listening, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient PC and internet skills including MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive experience for all VCI customers and potential customers.
• Effective and timely communication via phone and email.
• Respond to inquiries about product specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Handle quotes, order entry, RMAs, technical support, and daily tasks.
• Perform organized data entry with attention to detail.
• Educate customers, review needs analysis, and provide solutions.
• Problem solve with customers and colleagues; multitask as needed.
• Support sales with incoming and outgoing needs; be a team player.
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and follow up via phone/email.
• Develop understanding of VCI products and processes; collaborate with other departments.
