Job summary

MFCP in West Sacramento is seeking a Customer Service Associate to handle inquiries, quotations, order entry, and delivery follow-ups across phone, email, fax, and in-person channels. You will gather information, record requests, and provide timely updates while following established procedures.

The role supports customers, suppliers, and internal teams; you will escalate complex issues, maintain accurate records, and contribute to on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework is preferred.
• Experience in customer service, order management, or related fields is preferred.
• Able to escalate more complex issues to higher-level staff when needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, fax, walk-in, and systems.
• Prepare quotations and enter/update orders; relay pricing, availability, and lead times.
• Use ERP or business systems to retrieve information and track requests.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and other departments to ensure order accuracy and delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for quotations, orders, and communications.
• Support the Outside Sales Team and branch operations as needed.
