Job summary

Caterpillar's Electric Power Division seeks a Customer Success Manager to oversee and coordinate project execution for large gas and data center projects. You will lead from award through installation, aligning timelines, milestones, and stakeholder governance to deliver sustainable solutions.

You will build and maintain strategic customer relationships, drive project scope, and champion outcomes across the lifecycle while coordinating with dealers, EPCs, service teams, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience (Electric Power & Data Center applications preferred).
• Understanding of data center design topologies and Cat Electric Power product applications.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution after award – lead from order placement through installation and commissioning.
• Develop and manage the customer sales execution plan across milestones, RTS dates, site readiness, and governance.
• Act as the central point for coordination among customers, dealers, EPCs, service teams, supply chain, operations, engineering, and product groups.
• Validate and refine customer scope including requirements, equipment selections, uptime commitments, and site conditions.
• Champion customer outcomes across lifecycle with dealer readiness, service planning, parts strategy, and lifecycle support.
• Sell additional products and services by directly engaging customers and ensuring their needs are met.
