Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to shepherd large prime power projects and data center initiatives from award through installation and commissioning.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage milestones, and ensure alignment with customer requirements and Caterpillar’s commitments. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, driving value across the lifecycle, and shaping service and parts strategies for long‑term outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience – preferred in Electric Power & Data Center applications.
• Understanding of data center design topologies and Cat Electric Power product application within the data center industry desired.
• Previous field and/or account management experience with Caterpillar Dealers and Customers desired.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution after award - lead from order to installation and commissioning.
• Develop and manage the customer sales execution plan and milestones.
• Act as the central point for coordination among customers, dealers, EPCs, service teams, supply chain, operations, engineering, and product groups.
• Validate and refine customer scope to align with needs and constraints.
• Champion customer outcomes throughout the lifecycle with ongoing planning and communication.
