The Armstrong Company is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to be the first point of contact for customers and to manage service delivery across defined supply chains, including international, commercial, residential, and military sectors.

The role emphasizes inbound lead handling, prospect qualification, appointment setting, and collaboration with field sales and operations teams, with a strong focus on superior customer service and multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED minimum.
• Associates/Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles all inbound sales lead calls and converts calls into appointments/sales.
• Answers customer questions and resolves customer complaints or issues.
• Researches and thoroughly qualify prospects utilizing phone and internet to ensure leads provided to field sales are sales worthy and meet minimum criteria.
• Identifies prospect needs and sets appointments.
• Communicates with local agency coordination and operations staff in support of customer needs/inquiries.
• Leverages electronic and print collateral to support business opportunities.
• Leverages technology to track sales efforts.
• Supports all inbound communications and determines the best course of action based on call type/inquiry.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
