The role emphasizes customer advocacy and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment. The role requires an associates degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of customer service and inside sales,

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate required; or years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years’ experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.
• Caelus or other ERP systems experience a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office—Outlook and Excel.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer inquiries via email, phone, or other means in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Support the sales team to ensure quotes and orders are accurate and complete.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards all customers and promote company products and services.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and address customer concerns/complaints.
• Attend regular customer service departmental meetings.
• Coordinate follow-ups on quotations, proposals, and inquiries.
• Identify new sales opportunities within medical, specialty gas, fill plants and industrial markets.
• Follow-up on new customer leads; help retain the customer base.
• Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service team members.
