Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to partner with ISVs, merchants, and partner teams to implement and optimize TikTok Shop API integrations. You will design solutions, guide technical implementations, and contribute to architecture standards.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, and ecosystem teams, provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, and advocate API adoption at events and in the developer community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years in technical solution design, solution engineering, or pre-sales engineering in ecommerce/SaaS.
• Proficiency with RESTful API design and debugging; strong data structures.
• Experience integrating with ERP/OMS/PIM/WMS systems is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and client communication; multi-stakeholder management.
• Fast learner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand TikTok Shop API capabilities and design integration solutions tailored to various business scenarios.
• Collaborate with merchants, ISVs, and partner technical teams to guide API integration and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain standardized solution architectures, reference designs, and best-practice documentation; drive adoption.
• Evaluate integration feasibility for new product features and provide optimization recommendations.
• Partner with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to gather feedback and support API iterations.
• Provide technical consultation during pre-sales and post-sales phases; troubleshoot and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Advocate TikTok Shop API integration through events, partner training, and developer community.
