Job Summary

LumApps is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to collaborate with customers to discover, design, and implement technical solutions that maximize the value of LumApps, focusing on integrations. The role spans the customer lifecycle and requires strong technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of LumApps’s product technologies and architectures.
• Lead technical onboarding and training sessions, including configuration and customization of integrations, possibly using Workato.
• Lead data migration sessions from legacy systems during onboarding.
• Install, configure, and support Marketplace apps requiring complex integration capabilities.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client objectives and technical environments, design integration solutions connecting LumApps to external systems (HR, payroll, LMS) via APIs, SFTP, REST, SOAP.
• Help customers connect BI tools to the datalake; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Develop training materials and documentation to share technical knowledge.
• Act as trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients, co‑lead business reviews with CSMs.
• Support customer success teams with integration needs and automation opportunities.
• Provide feedback on product enhancements and maintain close collaboration with product and engineering.
• Continuously seek process improvements to optimize implementation experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (2+ years) in technical development with a focus on integrations in a SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of integration technologies and standards (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, REST, SOAP, SFTP, batch).
• Excellent written and verbal customer communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solving focus on high‑quality solutions.
• Experience with Python and Workato (or similar iPaaS) for complex integrations.
• Ability to manage technical implementation projects from scoping to delivery in an agile environment.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑paced settings.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 Azure, or Okta administration.
• Familiarity with employee communication and digital workplace solutions.
