Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Customer Showroom Liaison to assist customers and provide an exceptional brand experience in our Newport Beach showroom and Huntington Beach office locations. This role focuses on efficient appointment scheduling by phone, email, or in person, while delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include answering inquiries, coordinating with Scheduling, greeting clients, maintaining showroom standards, and supporting additional showroom tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience in construction or home renovations/improvement, preferably in a luxury brand environment.
• Associates Degree related to business administration or accounting preferred.
• Calendar management or regional scheduling experience preferred.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to manage own schedule in a fast-paced setting.
• Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional client experience aligned with company values.
• Tech savvy with quick adoption of CAD, Epicor, Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for Design Consultants efficiently and accurately.
• Answer incoming calls and emails and address client needs.
• Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and communicate issues daily.
• Greet clients in showroom and maintain showroom presentation.
• Open/close showroom and perform additional clerical tasks as needed.

Job Description

The Customer Showroom Liaison assists customers and provides an exceptional brand experience. This position serves customers while striving to complete appointment scheduling in an efficient and detailed manner by phone, email, or when in the showroom.

Pay rate: $21 - $25 (depending on experience)

The schedule will be five days per week, either 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., depending on the showroom location. Please note that the position will support both the Huntington Beach Office & Showroom and the Newport Beach Showroom (scheduled to open in December 2026).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for appointment scheduling in an efficient and detailed manner for our Design Consultants.
• Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and emails, addressing client needs.
• Works in conjunction with the activities of the Centralized Scheduling team and communicates daily with the team regarding issues with the accuracy of consultations being scheduled.
• When in a showroom, serves as first contact to greet all clients who visit our showroom.
• Maintains the showroom at the direction of their leader in accordance with the maintenance and cleanliness checklist. This includes opening and closing the showroom.
• May be assigned other administrative duties including service warranty, additional sales support (add-on orders), and/ or other clerical responsibilities unique to the showroom location or business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience of administrative and/or customer service experience in construction and/or in the home renovations/improvement industry – preferably within a luxury brand environment
• Associates Degree related to business administration / accounting from an accredited college or university preferred
• Calendar management / regional scheduling experience preferred
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, and ability to manage own schedule and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented, organized and time management skills
• Ability to provide an exceptional client experience aligned to the company values
• Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn and apply various business systems (CAD, Epicor, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc)
