Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking Team Members to help refresh travelers on their journey. You will provide friendly service, prepare and serve food, operate the POS system, and maintain cleanliness and stock across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly cleaning & stocking, processing accurate payment transactions, preparing & serving quality food, and other duties to assist travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
