Job summary

Volt is hiring a Customer Service Support Representative in San Diego, CA (Remote Position). This full-time role handles calls, creates Salesforce tickets, and supports providers with payment status updates across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable learning new databases. Training is provided; you will work remotely in a flexible, team-based setting with opportunities to develop across platforms and tasks beyond Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to dynamically prioritize tasks.
• Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in using multiple software platforms.
• Auto Insurance or Workers' Compensation experience is a plus.

Volt is immediately hiring for Customer Service Support Representative in San Diego, CA (Remote Position)

As a Customer Service Support, you will:

• Answering incoming and outgoing phone calls and either handling, transferring to a negotiator, or setting up Salesforce tickets.
• Willing to train and assist in other tasks and take on one or two side tasks outside of Salesforce.
• Provide payment status on behalf of the providers we negotiate with.
• Have highly effective oral and written communication skills, including business email etiquette.
• Excels in a highly collaborative environment where your input and insight are required and encouraged as part of a cross functional member.
• Is comfortable learning to use various databases. Role is across multiple platforms.
• Tasks outside Salesforce may include data entry or QA, attaching files and emails into bill records, working non-negotiator queues, coverage when teammates are out of office, or other similar tasks.
• Salesforce tasks may include setting up tickets for call escalations, pulling bill images, locating provider phone numbers, and handling other negotiator or customer requests.

Contract & Hours

This is a full-time opportunity!

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience handling multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to dynamically prioritize.
• Must be a self-starter with proven ability to work independently and within a team.
• Must be able to work in multiple software platforms.
• Having Auto Insurance background or Workers' Compensation experience is a plus.
