Job summary

Alsco Uniforms seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to drive loyalty through responsive inbound calls and proactive outbound outreach. The CSC coordinates information with the Service Department and follows up to ensure satisfactory resolutions. This on-site role reports to the Service Manager in Chicago.

The position is non-exempt, offers hourly pay of $23, and requires strong customer service, MS Office skills, and excellent English communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong internal/external customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; capable of basic administrative tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; good time management; team player.
• Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of product; count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service needs courteously according to policy and procedures.
• Make outbound calls or respond to inbound calls; audits, upsell opportunities, issue resolution, referrals, and order processing.
• Coordinate information flow within the Service Department; maintain call logs, print daily reports, and arrange deliveries.
• Build customer loyalty, educate customers, resolve concerns with supervision, and communicate proactively.
• Prepare, distribute and track welcome packets, renewals, service agreements, and periodic reports.
• Monitor and report competitive activity.
• Attend meetings and follow supervisor instructions.
