The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1-3 years in a supervisory capacity with logistics or customer service background. A professional, safe work environment and ongoing associate development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in a lead/supervisory/management position.
• 1-2 years of logistics industry experience preferred.
• Previous customer service and operations background required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the shift and daily activities.
• Provide interface to the customer and follow up with operations to address issues.
• Review customer complaints with warehouse management and/or transportation.
• Execute daily contract requirements and identify accessorial activity.
• Lead staff to increase productivity and develop associates.
• Plan workload and forecast volume.
• Ensure documentation per guidelines.
• Maintain professional, safe work environment.
• Participate in data collection for performance measurement.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure value-added services for customers are completed.
