Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Lewiston, ID to support daily store operations, from merchandising to customer assistance. You will rotate to front-end duties, manage cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with a focus on safety and integrity across all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the store and restrooms.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while operating the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
