Würth Baer Supply Company in Rumford, RI is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative. The CSR handles inquiries, processes orders, quotes pricing, and supports customers with urgency and courtesy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include order entry, back-order management, upselling when appropriate, and collaboration with a team to meet sales goals. Strong communication and proficiency in Excel and Outlook are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• High School Education with a two-year or four-year college degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel & SAP experience preferred.
• Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines.
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and concerns with courtesy, respect and urgency.
• Respond to customer calls and emails (65-90 per day est.).
• Enter and modify on-line orders in the system and create quotes.
• Provide pricing information for stock and non-stock merchandise.
• Investigate back-ordered products and offer substitutes when available.
• Expedite orders and maintain product information files.
• Collaborate within the team to support customers and hit goals.
• Provide accurate information in a professional, customer-focused manner.
• Record and resolve order issues and participate in sales blitz days.
