Würth Baer Supply Company in Rumford, RI is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative. The CSR handles inquiries, processes orders, quotes pricing, and supports customers with urgency and courtesy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include order entry, back-order management, upselling when appropriate, and collaboration with a team to meet sales goals. Strong communication and proficiency in Excel and Outlook are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• High School Education with a two-year or four-year college degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel & SAP experience preferred.
• Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines.
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook.

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our branch in Rumford, RI.

Location:

Compensation:

• $24.00/HR

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm ET

Responsibilities:

• As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle customer inquiries and concerns with courtesy, respect, professionalism and a high sense of urgency for our growing client base. You will provide the best value through a combination of product availability, service and price to incoming customer calls (65-90 per day). You will help solve and handle issues on orders and back-ordered products. You will continuously pursue process improvements and add customer value by helping customers reduce their costs through upselling and offering substitute products as needed thus finding the best solutions to their needs.
• Handle incoming customer calls (65-90 per day est.) and emails
• Order Processing: Enter and modify on-line orders in the system
• Creating quotes
• Respond to customer requesting pricing and other information about both stock and non-stock merchandise
• Investigate back-ordered merchandise and offer substitutes when available
• Expedite Orders
• Maintain product information files
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment to support customers and achieve departmental goals.
• Provide accurate, detailed information in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Record and resolve order issues
• Participate in phone blitz sales days in alignment with company sales goals.
• Other duties related to sales or customer service as required

Hourly Employees Benefits Summary:
