Würth Baer Supply Company is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Rumford, RI branch. The role includes handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing pricing information.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, experience in Excel and SAP, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is $24.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET.

Wurth Baer Supply Company is seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our branch in Rumford, RI.

Compensation:

• $24.00/HR

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm ET

Responsibilities:

• As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle customer inquiries and concerns with courtesy, respect, professionalism and a high sense of urgency for our growing client base. You will provide the best value through a combination of product availability, service and price to incoming customer calls (65-90 per day). You will help solve and handle issues on orders and back-ordered products. You will continuously pursue process improvements and add customer value by helping customers reduce their costs through upselling and offering substitute products as needed thus finding the best solutions to their needs.
• Handle incoming customer calls (65-90 per day est.) and emails
• Order Processing: Enter and modify on-line orders in the system
• Respond to customer requesting pricing and other information about both stock and non-stock merchandise
• Investigate back-ordered merchandise and offer substitutes when available
• Expedite Orders
• Maintain product information files
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment to support customers and achieve departmental goals.
• Provide accurate, detailed information in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Record and resolve order issues
• Participate in phone blitz sales days in alignment with company sales goals.
• Other duties related to sales or customer service as required

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus
• High School Education with a two-year or four-year college degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excel & SAP experience preferred
• Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced customer service environment strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines.
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook
• Detail-Oriented and the ability to multi-task
• Help customers when placing orders, upselling or offering substitute products that meet customer needs.

Hourly Employees Benefits Summary:
