Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support freight pickup requests, rate quotes, freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments. You will assist the Service Center Manager and account managers while coordinating with drivers and interline partners.

The role requires strong communication, keyboarding and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Competitive weekly pay and opportunities for advancement are offered in a modern facility.

Qualifications

Skillful in Microsoft Office Programs.
Excellent keyboarding skills.
Fast paced environment experience with strong attention to detail.
Experience with handling a high volume of phone calls.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Service Center Manager.
Take and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers.
Provide assistance to Drivers.
Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies.
