The City of Fairhope is hiring for a Customer Service Representative in the Revenue Department. This entry-level role supports multiple city departments, handling inquiries in person, by phone, or electronically.

You will learn city procedures under supervision and gradually gain independence as you demonstrate proficiency. Responsibilities include handling payments, assisting with billing questions, and maintaining accurate records in city systems while delivering excellent customer service to

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of practical work experience in customer service or dealing with the public.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Mansioni

• Operate and support City’s customer service center functions in a high volume environment.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and balance cash drawers daily.
• Assist customers with inquiries, services, and billing information with professional, courteous service.
• Enter and update information in city computer systems and databases.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve issues and ensure timely service delivery.
