Job summary

City and County of Honolulu, HI is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face behind essential City services. The role involves processing vehicle transactions, licenses, permits, and other documents, collecting payments, and performing clerical duties across Satellite City Halls.

You will answer questions, greet visitors, input data, and help direct inquiries while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience with some customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle money and financial transactions accurately
• Experience with filing and data entry

Responsibilities

• Process City transactions including registrations, titles, permits, licenses
• Issue permits and certificates such as HOLO card passes
• Collect and account for payments and reconcile daily collections
• Review applications for completeness and securely handle sensitive information
• Assist customers with city services and direct inquiries
• Provide clerical and office support including answering calls and greeting visitors
• Perform other related duties as required
