R+L Carriers is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our Troy, NY Service Center. The CSR maintains positive relationships with customers and assists colleagues in tracking freight movement, using retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and heard, and resolving issues to support company goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle potentially stressful situations.
• General office and customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.
• Typing speed of 30+ WPM.

Responsabilités

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and assist with freight movement tracking.
• Use customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and heard.
• Perform daily freight tracing with customers.
• Assist other terminals with freight-related issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
