Job summary

U-Haul in Baytown, TX is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative who will be the face of our exceptional service, helping customers with rentals and equipment needs. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan to manage rentals, move and hook up trucks, inspect vehicles, answer questions, and prepare invoices.

U-Haul offers on‑the‑job training and certification opportunities for hitch installation and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill may require certification.
• Drive a forklift; forklift certification offered upon employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
