Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support commercial and industrial clients within Environmental Services.

You will maintain accurate account records, perform high-volume data entry, track customer information, and process inquiries and service requests in a timely manner. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of customer service experience and strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, web, or in-person.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Track customer data, enter information into system databases, and maintain account files.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and field staff to communicate instructions and resolve service issues.
• Process payments, web requests, residential subscriptions, and customer refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks including credit checks, contract scanning, and account setups/cancellations.
• Maintain an organized workspace, assist office visitors, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
