Job summary

QXO, North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation, roofing, lumber, and building materials, seeks a customer service specialist. You will serve as the key contact for our branch, supporting orders and providing product information while collaborating with sales, production, credit, and delivery teams to ensure smooth fulfillment.

Travel is local (<10%), with a focus on delivering world-class service, accurate order processing, and professional communication. QXO values diversity and equal opportunity in employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Personable, enthusiastic and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key customer contact for our branch, providing order support and product information for our customers.
• Work closely with Outside Sales Reps, Production Personnel, Insides Sales, Credit and Delivery to support order fulfillment.
• Maintain a positive rapport with customers and deliver world-class service.
• Demonstrate analytics and problem-solving skills in service delivery.
• Process and review dealer orders, requests and system-generated acknowledgements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
