The role you’ll contribute:

The Customer Service Specialist is an accountable member of a patient care team, responsible for clerical and supportive functions that contribute to the smooth operation of interoffice systems generated by patient care activities. Responsibilities may include answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, checking patients in via computer, collecting co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance, posting payments, scheduling appointments, and making new patient folders.

• Greets patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully.
• Demonstrates good judgment in routing and answering calls; ensures all incoming calls are answered, screened, and directed appropriately, with messages relayed timely.
• Maintains a pleasant, caring attitude when communicating face-to-face or via phone with guests and patients.
• Works collaboratively with leadership to deliver accurate and timely projects.
• Conveys a positive image of the Medical Center.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Technical School Graduate
• 1+ Years of relevant experience
