Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking an Insurance Specialist in Irving, TX to help patients and healthcare providers navigate insurance coverage and access therapies. No medical insurance background is required; we provide training to learn the industry and needed processes.

Pay is $17/hour with weekly pay, full benefits, and a start date of November 9, plus equipment provided (must pick up in Irving). Key duties include handling inbound and outbound calls for verification and benefits,

• Ability to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Sat 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to insurance verification and patient benefits.
• Verify insurance coverage, deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, and patient eligibility.
• Determine whether prescribed therapies qualify for available benefit or financial assistance programs.
• Assist patients with navigating websites, enrollment processes, and available insurance options.
• Process patient applications and determine eligibility according to program guidelines.
• Document insurance verification results and patient interactions accurately.
• Follow up with patients and healthcare providers as needed.
• Identify barriers preventing patients from accessing prescribed therapies and take ownership of resolving those issues.

• Customer service roles requiring strong problem-solving skills
• Other professional backgrounds that require attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to learn complex information

• Schedule: Must be able to work an 8hr. shift between Mon-Sat 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
